Our compensation for this entry-level position includes:

  • Wages start at $20.00 an hour with the opportunity for increased pay based on previous experience.

  • A formal review process every 6 months, including considerations for a raise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily operations at Revival include:

  • Handling sales & exchanges according to our shop’s policies using Square for Retail, our point of sale system.

  • Maintaining both operational sales accuracy and speed of service at all times.

  • Maintaining an exceptional shop presentation and order by taking a proactive approach to straightening, re-stocking, cleaning, and other retail housekeeping duties.

  • Being welcoming and engaging with our customers, while maintaining a high level of awareness surrounding the security of merchandise, including theft prevention/interception.

  • Being intentional in understanding Revival’s process, procedures, and systems while looking for and communicating opportunities to improve efficiency.

  • Inventory management, processing, and backstock organization.

  • Engaging our customers with product posts through our Social Media.

  • Using a step stool and ladder, maintaining manual dexterity the entire shift, and standing for periods.

  • Opening, working, and closing the shop independently.


QUALIFICATIONS

In order to perform the responsibilities above, applicants must have the following qualities:

  • Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service-related experience.

  • Punctuality, reliability and trustworthiness.

  • A genuinely friendly, welcoming, outgoing attitude that also maintains a “see something, say something” assertive role in the shop as it relates to theft prevention and security.

  • Ability to handle difficult/uncomfortable customer situations in a professional manner as they arise.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail as it relates to working with co-workers and management.

  • Ability to prioritize, delegate and follow up on all store-related matters including customer service, product, safety, policies, and procedures.

  • A minimum of six months commitment to working at Revival.


ADDITIONAL SKILLS & INTERESTS

You will stand out if you have these additional skills:

  • Knowledge of fashion, eras, fabrics, jewelry, and our products.

  • Experience as a shop keyholder and working independently.

  • Experience with Square POS System on an iPad.

  • Basic apparel mending and inventory prepping abilities such as steaming, styling, and merchandising.

  • Basic photography skills for social media.

  • Commitment to growing with Revival.


We are seeking a sales associate with the availability of 4 -5 workdays per week. Must be available to work Monday-Thursday and Sundays.

We feel it is important that your work ethic falls in line with ours. This includes treating the shop as your own; a place you are happy investing your time and energy with. We desire an individual who is confident working independently and has respect for our product that is primarily sourced by our community.
